DJ CHEF Heats Up The Biz Bash Event Style Show @ The Javitz Center NYC

I performed at the Biz Bash Evebt STyle Show last week in New York City. I haven't done this show in a few years and I was presently suprised to see such a great turn out! I was rocking out from start to finish! It was great to meet alot of planners from the NYEP group and to see alot planners & colleauges I haven't see in a while. My friend Jill Nicolini from CW11 morning news was reporting live from the DJ CHEF booth interviewing planners as we filimed all the action! Here's some photos below. I served up the eats & beats @ Animal Fair Magazine’s 8th Annual Halloween Party event benefiting the Humane Society of New York at Mansion with piper Perabo, Dina and Ali Lohan, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Richard Belzer of Law & Order, Beth Ostrosky, Whitney Thompson winner of America’s Next Top Model, Nicole Fiscella of Gossip Girl, Jill Zarin & Bethenny Frankel from The Real Housewives of New York City, Skeery Jones from Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show & Courtney Friel of Fox News. That's right it's official! DJ CHEF is the holiday party king.....OK well maybe not in those words--- but being featured in Agenda Magazine's Holiday Preview is an honor....Corporate holiday parties as we know can be quite a big deal. Companies tend to go all out and bring in the best of the best to show their hard working employees and valued clients their appreciation at years end. On my continuous quest to make food & cooking fun & entertaining I want to thank everyone for their support and I'm looking forward to great holiday season with you and awesome 2009! Rock on ;-)

NYC Councilman Peter Vallone recommends DJ CHEF for your next event

I performed at Peter Vallone's fund raiser event the past two years at the Bohemian Beer Garden in Astoria and he was cool enough to do this quick video recommendation after this years packed event last night which was hosted by Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.

DJ AM & TRAVIS BARKER'S PLANE CRASHES LAST NITE

Thoughts & prayers today for DJ AM, Travis Barker & their families as their private jet crashed last night in South Carolina. The reports are saying Travis' assistant, the pilot and crew members died and AM & Travis are in critical condition. Here's more info from TMZ.com:

Travis Barker and DJ AM were passengers on plane that crashed, critically injuring them and killing four others. The jet was departing from a South Carolina airport.Travis was taken by ambulance to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA and is in critical but stable condition. DJ AM, real name Adam Michael Goldstein, was airlifted to the burn center and is also in critical but stable condition. Barker had performed Friday night with Perry Farrell, Gavin DeGraw and DJ AM. It has not been confirmed if Farrell and DeGraw were also traveling on the same jet.
A FAA spokesperson said the plane carrying six people attempted to take off shortly before midnight Friday from Columbia, South Carolina when people in the tower report seeing sparks. They said the plane went off the runway and crashed on a highway embankment, catching fire.
